Lighthouse is an open-source tool that helps developers improve the quality of their web pages by providing audits and recommendations across these key areas.\nThe secret to achieving a perfect score of 100% on a Lighthouse audit lies in meticulous attention to detail and adherence to best practices across all evaluated categories. By optimizing performance through techniques such as lazy loading, minimizing render-blocking resources, and leveraging browser caching, you can significantly enhance page load times. Ensuring accessibility involves implementing semantic HTML, providing alternative text for images, and ensuring keyboard navigability. Following best practices includes using HTTPS, avoiding deprecated APIs, and ensuring responsive design. For SEO, optimizing meta tags, using descriptive URLs, and ensuring mobile-friendliness are crucial. Lastly, adhering to PWA standards by enabling service workers and providing a web app manifest can further boost the score. Continuous testing and iteration based on Lighthouse feedback are essential to maintain and improve the score over time.\n","date":"2 January 2025","permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/blog/how-to-achieve-100-on-lighthouse-audit/","section":"","summary":"","title":"How to achieve 100% on Lighthouse Audit"},{"content":" An interactive quiz application built with React.\n","date":"2 January 2025","permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/projects/quiz-app/","section":"","summary":"","title":"Quiz App"},{"content":"","date":null,"permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/tags/react/","section":"Tags","summary":"","title":"React"},{"content":"A Pantone color is a standardized, proprietary color created by the Pantone company, which assigns a unique code to each color. These colors are used in various industries to ensure color consistency across different materials and locations, as they provide a shared language for specifying and reproducing colors accurately. Pantone colors are often more vibrant and consistent than colors created with the standard CMYK or RGB color models.\nFor 2025, the Pantone Color Institute selects PANTONE 17-1230 Mocha Mousse, a warming, brown hue imbued with richness. It nurtures us with its suggestion of the delectable qualities of chocolate and coffee, answering our desire for comfort.\n","date":"1 January 2025","permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/blog/exploring-pantone-colors-a-journey-through-shades-and-hues/","section":"","summary":"","title":"Exploring Pantone Colors: A Journey Through Shades and Hues"},{"content":" A storefront project built with React, focused on a clear product-browsing experience.\n","date":"1 January 2025","permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/projects/shop/","section":"","summary":"","title":"Shop"},{"content":"In late 2018, I relocated to the Netherlands with the intention of transitioning my career. I embarked on a programming journey and achieved the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification in July 2019. Alongside Java, I developed proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript and React.\nIn December 2019, I joined SkillTransfers, a Dutch startup seeking a Front-end Engineer. My responsibilities included maintaining the codebase and developing new React functionality using Redux for state management and GraphQL. I replaced the limited CSS MDBootstrap framework with Material UI, learning to override default library styles and mastering JSX. Additionally, I explored AWS technologies such as Amplify, Cognito and DynamoDB.\nIn February 2021, I joined ProWarehouse, an Apple Authorised B2B Reseller, as a DevOps Team member. We refactored the platform from client-side rendering (Vue.js) to server-side rendering (Golang and Go Template), prioritising clean code and design patterns. With configurable files (Viper), we created multiple platform versions (shops) and implemented our own SCSS framework based on Bulma.\nOver the past years, the platform has evolved into a more dynamic and robust solution capable of meeting multiple business requirements. We have researched and implemented newer paradigms and libraries, such as Gomponents, to enhance the platform’s security, speed and lightweight performance. The final result is accessible directly in the browser. As a team, we achieved 100% on Lighthouse Reporting, a significant accomplishment.\nBeyond technical skills, I bring a collaborative mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement. As a Software Developer and Scrum Master, I have learned to align technical decisions with business objectives, facilitate effective communication and drive projects to success.\n","date":null,"permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/about/","section":"","summary":"","title":""},{"content":"","date":null,"permalink":"https://dadobos.nl/categories/","section":"Categories","summary":"","title":"Categories"}]
